This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the German version is authoritative.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is K1Logic, Hermann-Lingg-Str. 13, 80336 Munich, Germany. The owner's name, VAT identification number, and full contact details are listed in the Legal Notice.
For any privacy-related question, contact us at the email address given in the Legal Notice.

2. General

This is a static website. It has no contact forms, no user accounts, no login area, and no comment section. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser that could be used to recognise you.
Personal data is processed only to the extent technically necessary to operate the website. No data is passed to third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Server log files

When you access this website, the web server automatically records access data:
  • date and time of the request
  • page or file requested
  • HTTP status code and volume of data transferred
  • referring page, where transmitted
  • browser and operating system (user agent)
  • a truncated IP address
IP addresses are truncated before they are written to the log file. For IPv4 the last octet is removed; for IPv6 only the first two blocks are retained. A complete IP address is never stored, which means we cannot trace log entries back to an individual.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable, and uninterrupted operation of the website and the prevention of attacks. Log data is rotated automatically and overwritten after a short period. It is not archived long-term and not combined with any other data.

4. Hosting

The website runs on a rented server located in Germany. The hosting provider processes the data described in section 3 solely on our behalf and is bound by a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
All content is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS (TLS). No content delivery network or other upstream provider outside the EU is used.

5. Analytics with Umami

We use Umami to understand how the site is used. Umami is self-hosted on our own infrastructure at stats.k1logic.de. No data is sent to an external analytics provider, and no data is transferred to a third country.
Umami works without cookies and without storing anything on your device. It does not recognise you across devices and builds no profile of your behaviour on other websites. Only aggregated metrics are recorded, such as page viewed, referrer, approximate region, browser type, and screen size. IP addresses are not stored.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is designing the website to meet actual demand. Because no information is stored on or read from your device, in our assessment no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required. You can prevent collection at any time using a script blocker or your browser's Do Not Track setting.

6. Fonts and external content

All fonts are served locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service. Loading the website establishes no connection to third-party servers; no external scripts, maps, videos, or social media plugins are embedded.

7. Contacting us by email

If you contact us by email, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Your enquiry and the related correspondence are deleted once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Beyond the processing arrangement described in section 4, your data is not passed to any third party. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

9. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
  • right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal message to the email address in the Legal Notice is enough to exercise these rights. Please note that because IP addresses are truncated, we are generally unable to attribute log data to an individual.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy whenever the technical implementation of the website or the legal framework changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
